My interview process consisted of an on-campus interview with a senior manager within the CSX finance group. Mostly behavioral questions and one or two questions regarding an airplane merger and how I would assess the opportunity as well as what to do with employees acting unethical.
After being invited to Jacksonville for the second round (final round), I arrived on a Thursday night and attended a dinner with 8 or 10 other candidates at a very nice restaurant. Interacted with a few different employees within the finance department ranging in seniority. One was the head of the finance management training program. The biggest requirement going into the final round was a case presentation that has been used for a number of previous years. It involves NPV investment analysis of potential factory locations for a fictitious company. The interview is timed to last about 20 minutes. I was presenting in front of 3 different managers and was asked a few specific questions throughout the course my presentation.
With the presentation, was two one-on-one interviews with managers within finance. Both were very much behavioral "tell me about a time" topics. Overall, very comfortable atmosphere throughout most of the interview process. I found out within a few days after returning home about their decision on my interview.
