I applied via internet and with a reference of a friend who is working at cybernet. I was first interviewed by two men for NE at NBB dept. It was 3 hours long interview sort of interrogation they asked each and every thing from degree to ccna, ccnp as well as basics of ccie even though it was job for 2-3 experience professionals. I am ccna certified and ccnp trained therefore at initial i answered all question then they started to interrogate me and repeat questions which i clearly told them are out of scope and my knowledge. At last they i was told that i have cleared initial interview will be approached for a second interview by GM of dept. next i was interviewed again the person started to ask question from microprocessors then electronics which I feel was very odd because i was BSCS grad. well i gave answers best to my knowledge then he started interrogating from GPON/EPON which i had little experience but the man went in depth and asked me to draw wavelength spectrum and calculate power distribution in 1:128 splitting. i answered 60%-70% correct that got him impressed. At last i was interviewed by CIO a week later who interviewed me from firewalls, AS# allotment, CyberSec, OOP, Databases. I felt like that i know nothing and totally wasted my life in degree but i think he was not intended to hire me therefore he went out of scope for Level-1 Network Engineer.
