Struggled a bit due to learning difficulty but it's confusing to point out if companies just need to do better in actively providing Accommodations (as sometimes being neurodivergent means having inability to know I am struggling and what I need - more time? Slow pace? Question reframed differently? Change in approach of assessment? Like I have an excellent experience in managing customers but If I am asked give us an exampleof time you managed a difficult customer there are chances my brain is jumping through multiple examples even though I prepared one specific, or I can't remember the one I prepared.. if I was instead asked lets say you are doing x and there y and you get a difficult customer - how would you approach - I would be able to demonstrate my ability.

Positive experience.
When I went to the interview I was offered a hot drink of my choice to have during the interview. The store manager interviewed me and it was more of an informal chat about my hobbies and why I wanted to work there than a formal interview.
Then I was asked when I wanted to start the training at the end of the interview.
We had a chat in the cafe, all very standard questions (experience, background, plans for future, current situation (ie studying), etc.). It genuinely made me laugh though that we were talking and, by the time he got to the conditions (minimum wage job), the manager went quiet and just whispered the salary to me, to the point that I had to ask him to repeat it. I think he was ashamed of the conditions, which makes sense, as minimum wage in London does not get you far.
