I was a student of a professor who had many students and not many TAs to help him grade. I was asked by him to be a TA for him. I worked as his TA for 1 year and worked with another professor as her TA for over 1 year. There wasn't really an interview for either professor because they both knew me well enough to give me the job without an interview.
