I applied and received an invitation for an interview right away. There were many others who were being interviewed. I received a contingency offer even before driving home. Took the physical exam, but accepted an offer elsewhere. It's been almost a year, I've been following up on the reimbursement at least twice a month and still haven't been reimbursed.

Q: Describe how your strengths would make you a good employee at Caltrans.
It’s a structured interview process. You walk in, there’s a binder on the desk and you simply answer what’s in the binder. I was asked four questions and allotted 30 minutes to answer.

Two interviews, straightforward, series of questions with a certain allotted timeframe to answer all of them. You have the opportunity to go back and add detail if needed to answer the question further or to ask the interviewers if they need clarification.

Received a call and was asked if I was available for a certain time/date for a zoom call. Email was sent confirming details of call. During interview, it was a panel of 3 and they took turns asking questions that were also provided in a PowerPoint for one to read
