Being honest is not always easy, especially when it requires admitting something difficult. However, being truthful is important and can ultimately lead to better outcomes. It may take some time to gather the courage, to be honest, but it is worth it in the end.
I just had my first interview with the engineer from Cambly's partnered company Karat. I was required to answer 2/3 theoretical questions in the first 10 - 15 minutes and spent the rest on coding. However, I was not well prepared for the theoretical questions.

Standard process: phone screen followed by 3 final-round interviews. Phone screen and two final-round interviews were coding questions, while the hiring manager did a design interview that focused on data modeling and database query performance.

Coding challenge, phone screen, technical interview, final interview. Really great interviewing experience with everyone! Great experience especially with the software engineer. I definitely recommend applying here. Although my coding skills were not sharp enough the software engineer made the process very comfortable.
