The actual consultation was positive. It was the follow-up where Camino let themselves down. After the 1:1 with the consultant, he said he'd get back in touch, but there was no response. I messaged him a couple of times afterwards with reasonable intervals to see if there had been any update. Again, no response. I'd have preferred some follow-up even to tell me Camino are no longer interested, but ignoring emails for someone who has taken the time to come in is highly unprofessional. I appreciate this is actually down to the consultant who saw me, rather than Camino as a whole, but they shouldn't hire consultants who aren't fit for the position.
