The interview process for the Senior Sales Engineer role at Camunda was structured and thoughtful. It began with an introductory call and progressed through multiple stages, including a conversation with another Sales Engineer, a technical challenge that required building and presenting a Camunda BPMN workflow, and follow-up interviews with sales leadership. Each step gave a good sense of the company’s culture, collaboration between sales and technical teams, and the expectations for the role. The process was technical but fair, with clear communication and a focus on understanding both my technical depth and my ability to translate complex concepts into customer value. I was highly disappointed when they went silent. I never got a rejection or anything, only received a link to an interview experience survey. I liked everyone I talked to and seemed like a good fit. But the abrupt silence left a really bad impression.
