I applied to the position over linkedin, the HR manager called me to do a quick interview and to verify some point then he said we will set an interview in person and will contact me by email. I travelled to Toronto from Calgary then drove to Guelph to have the interview. I met with 2 people from the maintenance department together with the HR person. The interview lasted for about 90 to 100 minutes where they asked me about everything related to the position. When I finished the interview, they told me they will contact me within two weeks. They never did so I contacted them on the tenth day to check on the position. They never got back to me! I emailed, called, left voice messages and they never took the time to return my emails or my calls. All I needed to know if they already hired someone and what would give me better chance next time but I guess they did not have the courtesy to do so, maybe my application was refused for other non-professional reasons?
