Process began with a recruiter screen, asking basic questions about interest and background. 1 month later I received an email from a different recruiter to setup the tech interviews which was 2 rounds. 1 coding which was pretty easy and not bad, and the other was troubleshooting a broken system in AWS. A couple days later I was given an interview with the Director of the department. This interview was more or less another technical round where he would ask a question and based on the response drill deeper and deeper into the technical aspects.
A couple days after the interview with the director I was invited to interview with the CEO. I am not exactly sure why the CEO is interviewing for such a low level role but it does seem like micromanaging which threw up many red flags for me. Once in the interview the CEO was 8 minutes late which was extremely unprofessional as I am sure I would not have been extended similar grace as I did. Once in the interview he began by asking where I grew up and really wanting my life story. There was a concentration on my time in high school which I fail to understand how it is applicable to a position. I have been out of high school for over 10 years and it is definitely not relevant to the position. It seemed as if he was unprepared for the interview as he was asking irrelevant questions revolving around my personal life rather than professional career. Overall the interview was a negative experience and I firmly believe that the CEO should trust his director to make hiring decisions rather than micromanaging.

As laborious as other people have described. 10 page written assessment and a take home technical assessment. 2 technical interviews (Linux troubleshooting and MLOps) and a meet and greet. I made it to the end of the technical interviews and was ghosted by the recruiter even after emailing to follow up. Don't waste your time.
