Very, very involved on the part of the candidate. I ultimately did not receive the role, but went through the following steps 1. Standard Greenhouse application response: ~30 mins 2. Extensive written interview, to include asking about high school coursework and SAT/ACTs: ~3 hours 3. Psychometric Assessment: ~1 hour 4. Three interviews with the team the role would be in: 5 hours At this point there were still at least three (yes, 3 more) interviews remaining. I informed them of a competing offer, and received a rejection email swiftly. In short, about 10 hours of work, and this was apparently only 2/3 of the interview process. One admittedly quite nice part of the interview process - there was a central "candidate page" that detailed the steps of the interview process and dates/times for upcoming interviews. I cannot knock them for transparency, as they were exceedingly open about their process. In short, an admirably transparent interview process that is wholly ruined by how tortuously long it is.
