I was reached out to by the recruiter and in turn found out that the hiring manager was a young, child, with probably about 5 years of experience and none in marketing. They hire inexperienced if they are already at the healm.

Colloquio
Had two interviews. The first one with an in-house recruiter and the second with a senior manager. Both of them were friendly and seemed very happy to work at Canva.

First interview - she talked about the company, its culture, and the benefits of working at Canva and then asked questions about my current role i.e. main responsibilities, who I work with, the industry etc
Second interview - questions were around my aspirations, what I wanted to do next, what I value in life, my working style, how I communicate with stakeholders etc She also asked situational questions specific to the role e.g. how would you go with XYZ, what would you focus on the first three months etc
