Colloquio
1. Recruiter interview to discuss my experience and match me with a job. The job I applied for had two candidates progressed to final round, so wouldn’t include me in that position’s process.
2. Presentation using a Canva template about a product I had launched, and its impact; plus a product I loved. This had to be submitted 24hr prior to the interview. The two interviewers then questioned me about this for 40mins.
3. Third stage was a Canva challenge with a xls of provided product information, which had to be distilled into insights, roadmap initiatives and prioritisation. They suggest taking 4-5hours but I spent double to triple that based on what they asked for. The data set was over 4yrs old which made it challenging to understand and compare the product CX.
I was asked to prepare some slides in Canva describing products I liked and had worked on, and then present it. The interviewers asked some questions but didn't go too deep. I then was asked if I had any questions for Canva.

Colloquio
Many rounds, take home tasks. Role evaporated halfway through the process. Their human resources and recruiters failed to communicate effectively or professionally. I would not recommend this company to potential employees.

The hiring process was very long, involving 4 rounds. The first one was a chat with the recruiter, followed by a panel interview with a couple of Product Managers about your product success story and favourite product. Then, you need to do a take home exercise about Canva Pro, followed by another panel interview with a couple of Product Leads. I didn't get to the final round though, but I was made aware that this would involve speaking with the Head of Product. Although the whole process was long and involved lots of preparation, the recruiter is there to support you every step of the way, making you feel that they want you to be successful.
