Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso CapTech (Denver, CO) nel mese di mag 2026
Colloquio
The entire process took about three weeks from start to finish and honestly felt nothing like a traditional interview process. Every person I spoke with was friendly, approachable, and genuinely curious about my background, it felt more like a series of conversations than an interrogation. The interview process has 3 rounds, first is the recruiter screen, second was with someone senior at the firm and last was the power day - mix of technical and behavioral interviews, 2 hours.

Behavioral questions were focused on specific projects and experiences on my resume, they really dig into the details so make sure you know your work inside and out. They asked about why CapTech specifically, so have a genuine answer ready. The case interview was a business technology problem where you're expected to propose a solution, there's no right answer, they're evaluating how you think and communicate.

Good! But it was very interrogative, and they really wanted to dive into seeing how good you are at things like consulting, team projects, etc. For one of the questions, they asked what I liked about the company, which I responded to with a good amount of detail, but it didn’t seem like they were satisfied, so they asked me to give them more reasons. So, just come with the research done.

I’ve had two experiences with CapTech over the years for the same experience and the last one stuck out to me so much, I’m writing about it now to warn others.
My second experience with them I was headhunted for some fairly niche UX experience where I went through a phone screen, a manager interview, and then was invited for a roughly 2.5 hour rotational interview with different employees at various levels. In the end, my recruiter swoops in and says they’ve frozen all positions but “would let me know either way.” They then proceeded to ghost me when I followed up. I was left burned and confused not from the ghosting, but they wasted my and their employees’ time knowing they froze the position.
The ghosted me on my first interview attempt years ago as well (where I was also headhunted). Fool me once, shame on you, but fool me twice…shame on me. They have interesting work, but I cannot imagine having my time disrespected like that a third time.
