The interview process was botched since Day 1. My interview was set up for an unrelated role due to a goof-up by the recruiter. The recruiter was unresponsive throughout the recruitment process. I was finally interviewed for the right position and cleared all the technical rounds. They require an elaborate background verification BEFORE an offer can be rolled out. You'll need to consent to a third party contacting your current employers BEFORE an offer is rolled out by Capgemini. Finally, my candidature was rejected because I was once employed as a consultant for 12 months in a US-based company that obviously did not deposit PF. Having payslips and bank account statements that backed the consulting experience did not make a difference. I'm thanking my stars as I dodged a bullet there by not getting an offer.
