I was interviewed in April 2016 at Bangalore office of Capgemini. I am 2.5 years experienced in Java. First Round was an online test, which had questions related to Java, SOAP & REST and Spring. Some questions were mainly about the output of the sample program. Second Round was Technical Interview in which I was asked about the technology I am working on and the project. They checked the fundamental knowledge. Third Round was with the Engagement Manager of the project, who gave a problem to solve using program. Fourth round was HR round in which the HR asked about family background, etc. Asked me about my family plans in the future. They only offered me 12% on my current CTC and said that Java is not a niche skill and we cannot give you more. When I said that at least it should be 20-30% to make me switch from my company, she asked me that why am I asking for that much. Also, I do not come in their band of more than that salary so there is no chance of increasing it. This whole process took 1 full day and in the end they offered very less. You should ask them clearly before attending the interview if they will be able to give at least a certain hike on your current CTC.

It was good, it was about 1.30 hour where interview wanted to check overall experience and touch all technical questions. Started from basics and then REST, Spring Boot, then microservices
