I got the interview through a referral. The process started with a online test including 3 parts: personality, math and verbal tests. Not hard, but it was really timed. I just finished 15 questions out of 18 in the math part but still pass it. 2 weeks later, I flew to Richmond for an on-site interview and had a dinner with the candidates and current employees. The whole process was very professional. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Next day, I had 1 job fit interview, 1 behavior interview and 2 cases interviews. Be sure to prepare couple examples to describe a situation when you were in college or past job. I am an eco graduate and used to get a 50 out 51 on my GMAT test so the case part for me was not that hard. Both two cases were about credit cards. Given some parameters, to calculate the profits, if the situation changed which part will be also affected and break even calculation etc. I did some cases from McKinsey before but COF cases were different. Mckinsey's cases are more like a consulting process but COF is more focused on math and easier. Communication was also important and necessary. I was expecting to get an offer cuz my friend told me the cases part were more important. I thought I did pretty well and got the right answers in the end but was not selected. COF maybe looking for perfect candidates who are not only good at math but also well-rounded. Good luck guys! It is a good company to work.
