First stage: technical discussion of resume items with data scientists and machine learning engineers. Decently casual and a lot of interest even in niche topics. Second stage: Easy Leetcode problem, asked to describe the thinking process with that being the primary focus. Third stage: Given a "fake" code representing some I/O in a machine learning context. Also asked to think out loud and willing to answer questions if need be. Final stage: Behavioral questions. The interviewer was clearly just reading off a prompt and filling in a summary of my response with not much conversation or room to elaborate.
