Please DO NOT waste your time applying to Capital One or going through the PM interview process. Their evaluation methods are outdated, irrelevant, and harsh. And they will never give you feedback.
For 3 years, recruiters reached out to me about PM roles. This means I went through the process 3 times and failed to get an offer. Each time, I prepared more and got further in the process. Even though I never received feedback on my interview performance, so I never knew what was lacking.
The last time, I prepared for several weeks, going through reviews, videos, etc. The power day takes almost 4.5 hours, which is almost an entire day. It is unrealistic to ask someone to prepare for something close to an SAT exam without helping them understand the breakdown of their score afterwards.
To the hiring team: good luck looking for unicorns.

Mini case was pretty easy, study two capital one products and one hypothetical product and discuss.
Power day:
Product skills interview - 1 interviewer will read scripted questions grilling your past product looking for points and interest and explanations of hard concepts in business terms. The other interviewer may chime in or may be too busy answering emails to figure out what's going on.
Job fit - basic behavioral interview asking about times you've manage priorities, had difficult conversations etc
Business Analyst- I was given a case in which you were asked to analyze the profitability of a coworking space business. Only included fixed costs in the calculations but there were a lot of follow ups on what you would do to change the profitability and margins of the model.
Design case - another disinterested higher up. They'll ask you to analyze slides about customer experience at the dmv and create a product to address user issues.
Overall not entirely hard cases, but a lot to ask for one morning given it takes over 4 hours and only half of my interviewers seemed to care about what they were doing. The work culture might be different (hard to say no one spoke much to it) but the impression I got was that captial ones PMs are cogs in the machine, marching to a SAFe cadence. Good money on the table but probably not worth your time to interview unless you have a referral.
