My initial interview with an HR representative sparked off dozens of red flags. I was told that 50 hour weeks weren't uncommon and that 60 hour weeks happened. Additionally, the first interviewer noted that the company was "quick to fire" and that a lot of people seemed to not have experience handling a normal work environment, which also showed a disconnect between what is normal seeing as he referenced 50 hour work weeks with 60 as a possibility.
That said, every interview after that first one soothed all the alarm bells that had been wrung by the first interview. The people working on the floor did not corroborate 50-60 hour work weeks as commonplace and the management seemed to be involved and easy to talk to.
HOWEVER... the communication was absolutely appalling. First interview was scheduled fine, 2nd interview was scheduled right after the 1st, then after that the communication collapsed. We established an approximate date range for me to do an in person interview, then I didn't hear back until about 2 weeks after those dates had passed (3 weeks total and I did try and follow-up when I didn't get a response) to try and schedule an interview once more, but this time with one of the directors. That interview happened fairly quickly, then it was on to schedule interviews with the team members I would theoretically be working with.
After hearing they had received positive feedback from both the director and manager and asking about availability for the current week, I then once again did not hear back from the HR representative for another 2 weeks (and yes, I did follow-up again). Then finally we scheduled that interview.
I never heard back so I am assuming they went with another candidate, but with how the whole experience went, who knows XD
