I filled out the application online. I received a call and we talked on the phone for 5-10 minutes. We then discussed a time to stop in. I offered several days and times. I would offer a time(s) to the person on the phone and they would say nope that time won't work either because they would not be there or one of the other people would not be there that were going to part of the interview. There was no effort on their part to suggest day(s)/time(s). Very unprofessional tone and demeanor. It's a shame because I have sales experience and was excited about the opportunity.

Sorry to hear we couldn't get together on a day/time for an interview. We do phone interviews and screening at CarSense and sometimes things just don't work out... We do wish you well in your future endeavors.

First I had a 15 minute phone interview with a sales manager. I was then invited into the dealership for a multi-round in person interview. I met with 3 sales manager and the GSM and was given a tour of the facility. This lasted about an hour. I was told I'd hear a final answer soon, and was offered the job 2 days later.

Thanks for leaving this great summary of your interview experience! Our interview process is a bit more thorough than many expect for a car dealership...but that's because we are looking to "hire to retire"...we're in it for the long haul! Sounds like you nailed it!

The interview process is very professional and they make sure that they hire people with an ethical background. It says a lot about how much they care about there company
5 interviews with each of the managers, pretty casual but also time consuming. It was honestly more low pressure than I expected for a car dealer ship position. First the GM and GSM, then the Sales Manager, then the finance manager. After that a random sales associate to see how you mingle.
