Colloquio
Applied through LinkedIn. Recruitment and interview process was very deliberate in the sense that it was evident that they were not looking to recruit just to fill a position. The fact that the job was open for a few months with 100-200 applicants per month, before it got filled by me would be telling of the previous statement.
The recruiter made very sure I was kept in the loop and informed which phase of the recruitment process I was in. She also made sure to communicate to me at the soonest whenever there was progress with the recruitment process.
The interviews, I could divide into three stages -- the first being the interview with the senior recruiter with the intent to get a flavor of whether you are someone that might be able to fill the position, which generally consists of broad questions about your career and skillsets. The second was more of a behavioral interview + a couple of technical questions with the role's immediate supervisor. The third and last was a very technical and situational interview with the director for the department I was applying for.

Domanda 1
1. KYC questions like - tell me about your previous role, what certifications/experience do you have that are relevant to the position you're applying for, etc.
2. Behavioral questions which begin with "tell me about a time", "suppose... what would you do if..."
3. Technical questions about the role

First call was a screener call with more basic questions about you and your career/discussing what the role is, then 2 rounds are held with members of the team. The process lasted around 1-2 weeks total.

I had 4 total interviews with Cardinal Health. I also had internal recommendations from more than one employee. However, despite good interviews that seemed to go well, I did not receive any response for weeks. That is, until I emailed the recruiter.
Why is it so difficult to simply send an email that says, "thanks, but no thanks"? How hard is it to have a form email ready to go? This is particularly bizarre when one considers that an internal reference was made.
The humor in this is that Cardinal Health is always posting about "good mental health" or community service on LinkedIn. Instead of donating to the food pantry, how about treating applicants with basic courtesy and respect? How is Cardinal Health helping to promote "good mental health" when they ignore job seekers, who, in the current climate, may be anxious to get a good job?
