I recently underwent an online assessment immediately after applying for a job, without any prior interview with the HR team. Despite spending an hour answering questions, the assessment did not seem to accurately reflect my skills or experience. Soon after, I received an email informing me that there would be no further interviews based on my performance on the assessment. I believe it is important for companies to treat potential employees with more respect by including a human element in the recruitment process. This could involve at least a phone or video interview with senior candidates to better understand their skills and experience.

The assessment I received consisted of general Angular questions that tested my knowledge rather than my understanding, as well as an IQ test and a logic test. While these types of assessments can be useful, they do not provide a complete picture of a candidate's skills and experience, and it would be beneficial for companies to use them in conjunction with other forms of assessment, such as interviews or practical assignments.

Not the best experience i had in my entire career. Lot of bureaucracy. I had hour and a half length coding task. After that i was reached by HR for screening. After that I got a take home assignment. Which was a simple input with a table. And I implemented it with corporate level code. With all the configs needed and easy to scale in future . But thet didn't liked that and replied that i gave hard solution for a simple problem. So they are asking seniors to draw a table.
