Applied directly in company website job posting. Received a online sql test link. Passed the test and then the 1st round happened with the HR. Next round was sql interview and then 3rd round was reporting and visualization round interview. Got positive feedback from interviewer. The whole journey lasted for about 2 months then. Nothing came on the next steps. Later i received a reply that the role is on hold and the process is over for now. Very disappointing from such a good company.

Initial phone round to understand career aspirations, Then they had a technical assessment round online followed by 4 one on one rounds which are sequential in nature. It consists of one technical round covering sql and analytics, product round, business round and bar raiser round.
They provide detailed material to guide you through the interview, although there is a huge gap in actual interview vs the materials provided

Process was in two steps, first interview with HR and then all day interview with three different stakeholder. One of the worst interview experience, I ever had in my life. All of the interviewers were late for the meeting, constantly checking their phones during the interview and felt more like robots working at the office.

Had 4 rounds. Was told after the 4th round to put in my availability for the next round. Few hours that I received a rejection email. No concrete reason given other than they decided to go with another candidate.
In my view this sudden change of mindset shows lack of transparency and immature recruiters and decision making. It also shows Careem does not respect a candidate, and they feel that they have no sense of responsibility towards the candidate's interview experience with the company, and that they can back track whenever they feel like it. It also indicates that they do not respect that many people they approach or interview are at senior positions in their existing company and do not appreciate being treated like I was.
