I Got an email from the recruiter after I applied online. Very robotic and just cycling through questions and clacking away on the keyboard while I am talking. Next week was a phone call with hiring manager. Again, very robotic and just asked a few questions and got off the phone. I knew it would be like that when the first email gave me choices of 3 days, 2 hour blocks and use the terms " interview pipeline". To anyone reading this and going for the Account Manager position it has basically ZERO sales component to it. It should be named Customer Service Manager or Customer Success Manager. When the VP of Client Services explained the job to me and then asked about me having a job with no selling and how would I react to it, I had a feeling it was a bad fit. I would not give this a bad interview experience, but more of a "meh"
