Initially submitted online application (CV, Cover Letter) and didn’t hear back for 8 weeks. Eventually I was contacted to say I needed to complete a prerecorded video interview although this took another week to arrive. Just asked standard competency questions and why I applied to the role, why Cargill. Answers lasted for 1-2 minutes. Was invited to the assessment centre about a month later. 8 candidates for 1 role, maybe around 8 assessors. First was a plant tour by some student interns, then a group task. Four candidates in each task, generic team building exercise. After lunch there was a competency interview and a presentation task on some data. It was quite hard to make the presentation last 5 minutes as there really wasn’t a lot to say about the data, which the assessors acknowledged. Took two more weeks to hear back after the assessment centre. Whole process lasted from July to November, so not fast.
