Colloquio
Interviewed for frontend developer,
They had too many rounds of interview.
1st - Coding test. 120 mins, solved in 40 mins
2 output based questions related to scope of variable.
one settimeout inside for loop question, solved using let
2 implementation questions
I got top scores according to HR.
2nd - JS tech round
Asked to write debounce, i did not memorised this so took me time but i created custom debounce. I know its a standard que i should have known, but it's only used once we setup our util file.
Asked to write code in vanilla JS
3rd - Design round
Asked to design cart in a e-commerce site, and multiple things related to product list page.
It went super awesome, we discussed problems in detail.
4th - Manager round
He asked me lot about my projects, and challenges i have faced.
5th - tech again
It was a easy round, need to be done in JS only.

I have solved in most optimal way, using only one loop to create posts and other after clicking post to display. Used only one event listener on body. but rejected in last round LOL.
The panel member was doing is office work.
Feedback:
If you ask to implement debounce, curry, bind or flatten array. You will end up getting a candidate who is well prepared for interview, but consider after 6 month when he will not be well prepared....

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your interview experience. This is very valuable and allows us to refine and improve the process as we grow. Means a lot to me and the hiring manager.

Colloquio
I recently went through a 6-round interview process with Carousell, and overall it was a well-structured experience.
The conversations felt more like discussions than traditional interviews. The interviewers were friendly, professional, and created a comfortable environment while still asking thoughtful questions that challenged my approach and problem-solving.
One thing I appreciated was the focus on practical skills and real-world thinking rather than purely old-school interview patterns. The process felt relevant to how teams are evolving today.
I left the interviews feeling both comfortable and intellectually stretched — a balance that usually indicates a solid interview process.

One of the discussions focused on designing a scalable system and explaining the trade-offs behind the technical decisions. The interviewers were particularly interested in understanding my thought process — how I approach ambiguous problems, evaluate different solutions, and justify the final design rather than just arriving at the “correct” answer.

The interview process is as follows
1. Hackerrank Test
2. DSA Round
3. LLD
4. HLD
5. Hiring Manager round
But my suggestion would be do not try with them, they just waste your time, I attended the hackerrank test and cleared that and till 20 days there was no interview scheduled, recruiter was just delaying the interview and after 25 days she mentions the position is closed for now. It's complete waste of time interviewing with them
