Interview process took a month. First initial phone screening with the recruiter, then met individually for 30-minute interviews with the hiring manager and then each member from the team I would be joining. Recruiter thoroughly prepped me for interviews and answered all my questions beforehand. The manager and team members were easy to talk to and laid back. Questions were mostly behavioral/situational. Overall, I felt valued throughout the interview process and had a great experience.

This is a very standard interview process. They have product sense and execution and honestly their questions are pretty easy/basic if you’re preparing for any FAANG company.
I will say that this company is very disrespectful towards candidates though. It’s now been 4 weeks since the on-site and the product recruiter just ghosts you even after follow ups.
Candidates have invested over 10+ hours in the process. Please treat us with some respect. It just leaves a very negative experience towards Carta as a whole.
Do you really want to work at a company like this? I’ve been around the loop a few times and I’ve learnt that companies don’t focus on candidate experience are generally representative of their culture.
