Everyone was very nice, the challenge was fine, and the product was interesting. The issue I have is that when they heard my (very reasonable) salary expectations they ghosted. It feels disrespectful to go through the entire process and be treated that way, a simple thanks but no would have been fine. In addition companies should be transparent and upfront with the salary band, especially when it is below industry standard.
