I applied for a senior developer role at Castille Company and shared my resume. In my only interaction with the recruiter, I was asked for data such as home and cellular internet speed, and a site to prove it. which were both high, and contact details of managers from two previous companies. Unfortunately, there were no technical interviews, and it seemed there were no actual job opportunities available. This process felt like a waste of time and resources, as it required reaching out to my former managers which I'm sure scored me high, without leading to a substantive evaluation of my skills for the role.
