I applied through college recruiting and went through the Leadership and Technical Development Program (LTDP) at Caterpillar Inc. You are basically exposed to different business units over the course of 12 - 15 months.
Interview process was fairly easy. On campus, I was asked a bunch of behavioral questions. I was called for an on-site interview which consisted of 3 one hour long interviews. This was mostly about my experience, behavioral and technical questions.

Tell me a situation where you had a conflict with someone and how did you resolve it ?
It was pretty good but not the best. They asked me a lot of questions during the interview but it was mostly behavioral. I had one interview on campus and then I got an offer

Interview was moderate and was related to basic of domain but clarity of thoughts and application oriented thinking is needed for clearing of interview. Application subjects should be well versed of you domain.

It was a very simple process. Nice people who took time to listen and answer questions. I would recommend attempting to find a job here. Very nice people and great place to work.
