Telephone interview followed by assessment centre.
The assessment centre consisted of a group activity, to build a archway put of lego that would fit a cat machine under it, an interview, with some general questions;
1. Why caterpillar?
2. Whats your favourite module at uni and why?
3. when have you been disappointed with a project?
and some technical questions;
1. how does a door handle work?
-how does this differ to a car door handle?
2. why does ice cream melt when you take it out of the freezer?
- how can you prevent this?
3. How would you go about designing a vehicle?
The last task was a presentation on a project you had a role in.

The interview was a virtual assessment centre that included an introduction to the company, a group exercise, a technical or scenario based task, and a competency interview. The assessors were professional and explained each stage clearly

It is video Recording interview. A one way interview in which I had to record myself and had 1 minute to prepare and 2 minutes to respond. Usually they give you 3 attempts to record your answer

Very tough and tiring with a long day involving a group exercise, individual presentation and technical questions in an interview, answering in a STAR format. Overal a good experience and learnt alot
