There were 3 managers in the room asking me targetted selection questions. A series of scripted questions asking me about my experiences and specific things at CAT. The insisted on me being very SPECIFIC. They rotated who asked the questions and took notes. After the interview they stayed and met to discuss the candidates.

I faced an issue while interviewing for Senior IT Analyst Technical Infrastructure (Senior Cloud Engineer ) - Technical for the Bangalore location. The interview panel is from a non-technical background and only sticks to one word GEN AI" Do you have experience with Gen AI" Not ready to listen to the candidate and about to disconnect the call. The same I have highlighted this to the TA team but they just informed me that you don't have an experience in GEN AI and don't want to waste time that's why the panel is about to disconnect the call.
If this is the situation, how come my profile has been shortlisted for an interview?
Since the interview has been scheduled for a certain duration with the candidate & Panel. They have to stick to it but in between how are going to disconnect the call? I believe the Manager should learn how to take interviews before started taking interviews with candidates. Such a type of attitude can spoil a company's reputation.
