Spent 45 minutes trying to find a parking spot and barely made it in time for my scheduled time. Then I waited 20 minutes while my interviewer went off somewhere else. Went in and was told halfway through the interview that because I'm a new grad, I do not qualify for the unit I applied for and am interviewing for telemetry instead. Which is something I didn't mind, but would have liked to know when they asked me to come in for an interview the day before. The nurse recruiter just rattled off questions and I answered. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes. Was told I would receive a letter or a call if I get the position, which I felt was a way of them saying that they're not interested in me (since you would get an interview with the nurse manager and someone from the unit if they were serious about hiring you). I'm not sure why they called me in at all for the interview. Felt like a waste of time.

The hiring manager was very late (and then proceed to blame me saying I was too early even though the interview was rescheduled to accomodate her meeting), she answered phone call during the interview, kept repeating questions, she said I didn't have enough experience (which is fine, but I wish she looked at my resume beforehand instead of wasting my time), she kept boosting how great the hospital is, but asked me very little about myself and my clinical experience. In conclusion she didn't seem interested at all.

Applied online, then received an email for a phone screen with the nurse recruiter, after the phone screen had a in person interview with the asst nurse manager and another staff nurse. They seemed nice. I was called yesterday by the nurse recruiter and was offered the position. took about 3 weeks in total.

I applied for a nursing job and it took some time to hear back. Once I did, I was called in to interview with the manager. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and included a tour of the unit.
