The interview was out-of-state and therefore was conducted on an online video chat program called "Blue Jeans". The best part of the interview was the thoughtful questions from the members of the group. It was straight-forward. And there was an instant rapport.

I met the team of the Abreu Lab on two separate meetings (one of the members was sick for the first one). After a few weeks of not hearing back, I sent two follow up emails, but never got a response.

Dependent on PI, but my experience was typical with a preliminary phone call, a research presentation in the lab, a tour of the facilities, explanation of research and possible projects and interactions with lab members. Also attended a lab meeting beforehand to get a feel for the environment.
