Most unprofessional interview I have ever experienced. I waited in the lobby area and was brought to an office by a person in the department I was applying for. A senior person was seated at a desk and couldn't be bothered to properly greet me (stand up, shake my hand, thank me for coming in) and wouldn't even look up from the computer. Then she started talking to the woman who brought me in about some tech issue. Finally the nervous young woman who brought me in started reading interview questions from a note pad and the senior person barely was involved. I heard an occasional "uh huh" from her. To top it off, she kept CHECKING HER PHONE! I let it go twice but I told myself "if she checks that friggin phone one more time I am walking out." How unprofessional can you get? The interview wrapped up and they didn't know the salary range, start date, where I'd sit -- NOTHING. I knew I'd never work there anyway and I was waaaaay overqualified. These people feel a sense of granted empowerment, not EARNED empowerment and that is reflected in their demeanor and unprofessionalism.
