I was asked about my sexual orientation and religion, etc - which is why I turned down this position. Immutable characteristics of a person should not be a part of the application/interview process, as these types of characteristics have nothing to do with how well I will do my job or contribute to the success of the company. I find that these types of questions to be discriminatory in nature and will not proceed with the application process at such companies.
