Easy at the beginning, recruiter said candidates did not need prior crypto experience then they hit you with a 'take home' which is '6-8' hours long but asks very specific crypto implementation questions and says you may optionally reference one of their research papers (hint, obviously you're going to do to that, 'optionally' in these scenarios is misleading).
Felt like a bait and switch. I refused to do it and dropped out.

Colloquio
Interview process was well structured and professional, with clear communication throughout - its a combination of technical assessment and a cross section of communication skills and adaptabiliy. The team was respectful of time and provided good context about the role and expectations. There are a lot of rounds and it will determine if someone has the resilience and baseline traverse all the sections.
Overall it felt like a thoughtful and fair process, with opportunities to discuss both technical and cultural fit. A positive experience from start to finish.
