I submitted my application in Oct of 2025, and received no form of communication until March 2026. It was an autogenerated email stating "Congratulations, you have been selected to move forward to the next steps in the hiring process for the Instructional Designer position! To schedule a time and date to perform this step, please click the link below labeled "Scheduling Center". I scheduled my online interview and one week later has a zoom interview with two people on staff who were, from my point of view, extremely uninterested in interviewing a candidate for the position. It was almost as if they had been told last minute to conduct an interview and didnt want to do it, but did it anyway to appease the boss. One of the first things they made a point of telling me was that the interview would be short and quick, so to keep answers as brief as possible. Which didnt really work when you consider the types of questions they asked, but I answered as briefly as I could. Their questions and responses were often curt. Towards the end of the interview I didnt get to ask any questions. They basically just said thanks and have a good day and that someone might contact me later. One week later I received another autogenerated email stating I'd be moved onto the next level; which was to send in my professional portfolio of a few of my completed projects. The email instructed that I remove my name from every artifacts that I submitted, as to limit bias when they were going over it; along with a bunch of other directions. I submitted my portfolio a few days before the due date and have not received any form of communication from them since. That was nearly two months ago. Do yourself a favor and apply to someplace else that has better communication, time management, and doesn't ghost the people they're interviewing after 2 rounds of the interview process.
