Most disappointing interview process ever. I was contacted by a recruiter for a role after having my resume passed to them for outreach from a Sr Exec. Phone screen included start dates and discussion planned vacations for a “quick fill” of a multi-vacancy role. Interviewed with hiring manager who was equally positive about my experience and qualifications. Quick team interview scheduled onsite. Discussed start dates again. One week later, I received a very cold call from the recruiter that they had decided to move forward with another candidate. When I asked about multiple roles, I received a non-answer. When I asked the hiring manager for professional feedback, I was told “it’s not you, it’s us”. What a disappointing and discouraging experience.
