I applied for a job to do after effects animations. The questions were pretty straightforward but some of them were a bit weird. I understand sometimes interviewers ask questions to see how you would react, but in this case, they did not ask me much about my previous experience and the interview was very "squared".
In addition for the interview, they asked me to do a second stage of the process. I had to redesign their website, which of course they asked for every single applicant. In my personal experience, companies should be able to see your potential by seeing your portfolio.
At the end I received a call saying that I did not get the job, and I did not received any feedback about the design I did. Plus, I was applying for an animation position, not website design.
After all this process I realized it was a place that I did not want to work.
