I was called by a Citibank recruiter, informing me of the role, and asking if I was interested.
1. Phone interview: Brief verification of entries in resume. Asked standard questions on the employee application form, such as if one is amenable to work certain hours, if one has relatives in Citibank, etc.
2. Face-to-Face Interview: Was scheduled for this interview a few days after the phone interview. Face-to-face interview was with line manager and HR manager. It was fairly straightforward; there were no standardized questions about one's experience. The HR manager led most of the interview, and his questions were able to ascertain if I was fit for the role.
He was able to determine that I was the type of person who needed variety in my work, and this was something that the role they were offering will not be able to fulfill sufficiently.

Professional. Started with an initial interview with HR, then the second interview was a panel of VPs-SVPs of the team. Took me about 3 weeks before I was called to be accepted, and then a few more weeks before the offer.
Two rounds for a junior position. The technical interview is not difficutly.. questions assess your ability to work under pressure and team work. Technical questions include difference between an investment bank and commercial bank and knowledge about different financial products, excel skills, and some Black-Sholes, Greeks questions
Quick and not too much on the technical aspects. They ask about your knowledge on financial products. Lots of manual aspects to the job but learn all you can on the on-the-job trainings offerred.
