had two rounds of phone interview, pretty much focus on internship experience in the past. asked alot of assumptions questions ( what if the government is going to take over the business your company is currently doing?) walk through a DCF and did the depreciation increase by 10 million question. second interview was by an associate, basically just asked two questions based on the previous experience.

The interview process at Citi followed a fairly standard bulge bracket structure and was well organized overall. After submitting my application online, I was contacted by HR for an initial screening call that focused primarily on my background, interest in investment banking, and motivation for applying to Citi. This call was conversational and lasted about 20–30 minutes. The first formal interview round consisted of one-on-one interviews with analysts and associates. These interviews included a mix of behavioral and technical questions. Behavioral questions focused on my past experiences, teamwork, leadership, and reasons for pursuing investment banking and Citi specifically. Technical questions covered core valuation concepts, including DCF methodology, enterprise value, and how changes in depreciation affect financial statements
