Offshore recruiter reached out to me for an online interview with a director.
30mins before the call, I received a notification that it will be delayed for 10-20mins.
The interview started off average - No small talk or explanation of the role, I gave an overview of my profile and examples my work (STAR format).
Then came questions. I did my homework prior and was curious to understand what kind of projects the incumbent would be working on. However the responses received by the interviewer was curt and condescending - along the lines of "as stated clearly in the JD....". It was not stated in the JD or in the financial reports.
I felt that it was an interview done just to check off some boxes.
Interviewers ( hiring managers) do not have interview experience, the whole conversation was awkward. They expect you to fall in love with the company and the job, and you must know everything.

The first level was a panel of 4, which was followed 2 weeks after by an interview with the recruiting unit head and then, lastly, an interview with the CCO.
