No words were not wasted as - by the time he had finished explaining the offer - the only question I could conceive of was "Could I please offer my present employer the benefit of a two week's notice?" To which he reassuringly agreed. While direct, there was no rigidity in his conduct. And, though warm in demeanor, there was nothing to indicate a lack of professionalism. Very polished individual. I would just as soon quit, if it meant going through that exchange, again. A very pleasant experience.
