This was my first experience in Development (fundraising) where I interviewed with the HR director instead of with members of the Development team. I'm used to the energy of conversation with others directly involved with fundraising and having a synergistic experience. This interview, though the HR director knew key points about development, was stilted and didn't lend itself towards sharing experiences and being on the same page.
