The interview process was very dynamic and smooth. Before the actual interview they sent me instructional videos with guidelines to prepare my demo class, along with detailed preparation notes. After my demo class I received timely feedback about my demo lesson which was successful. The interview was led by a very friendly agent who handled it very professionally.

The interview process was really good. I received many different videos to help me practice for my demo lesson as well as links to online videos of teachers at class100 teaching a class. This helped so much in preparing for my demo. I received almost instant feedback after the demo. The staff were also amazing! I had to reschedule my demo twice because of personal emergencies and the support team was very kind and understanding! After the demo was complete, I had to prepare for the trial class and the training lesson. I really loved the training classes as it was really helpful and I felt more prepared when it came to teaching actual classes.

The initial interview was carried out by what seemed to be a woman in her bedroom who half listened, asked the same question twice while she was distracted by something in the background. The next step was platform training that's carried out by a foreign teacher called Michelle who was actually amazing and knowledgeable. She is actually wasted at this company. The 3rd stage was a mock class. You have to pretend that you're teaching a class of 50 when in fact you're just teaching 2 disinterested Chinese girls. There were multiple connection errors on their side that could only be fixed by constantly logging out of the platform. That totally ruins the flow of someone trying to teach. The final stage was another mock class. This time teaching phonics and IPA. The materials provided are littered with mistakes . An English school should have someone who can proofread materials before they are submitted to potential teachers. The mock class was the same as previously mentioned, teaching 2 Chinese girls. Network issues and constant background noise made it difficult to actual teach and again ruins any flow with teaching materials. Class100 could potentially be a force in the online esl market as their mission and business objectives are different from other online platforms. However, the way they operate on the Chinese side of things let's them down.
