The interview process consists of an over the phone pre-screening as well as a case study completion which is sent by email. Once this is complete, there are 3 sets of interviews in which you speak with 2 employees at a time. I knew that things were not going well from the start as one of the employees did not ask any questions and her partner asked her several times if she had any questions, she continually noded her head no. I was surprised as how unprofessional she was. Thankfully her partner was professional. The second round was okay and there was a very friendly employee who asked professional questions and actually wanted to get to know me as a person. This is the type of person who should guide her group. The third round was tiring as I was asked the same questions for a third time. In all honesty I would have preferred a panel interview with all 6 at once. That would have been more efficient for us all and the group could have also given internal feedback regarding their interviewing skills. After the process, I was informed I would hear back within a week. I did not hear back from the company. The lack of professionalism during the first round already set the tone for the rest of the interview. Please make sure that those you choose to interview candidates are prepared to ask questions in order to figure out if they qualify for a position, not judgement based on prejudices your employee may have.
