Hiring goes on like you are courting a beauty queen. Send out a coding test and string everyone along with a promise that hiring will begin in a month or so. You take time out of your busy job search schedule to do their test, follow up. Eventually, you get the same answer that hiring will start, and they will let you know when it begins. At the end of the day they will send you the same old canned reject email and by that time you have already started on your new job.
So don’t bother. If you are unemployed and looking for a job you’ll be wasting your time with their hiring process. Hiring process really is a reflection of the inner workings of a company and to me it said that you’ll just be wasting away your career on a company so complacent. Just put that time in any other company that value potential candidates.

Very fast paced. Interviewer was yawning multiple times. I often felt like I wasn't being heard by the other party. There were 3 people in the call which made me really nervous.

Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter on the same day. 30 minute conversation with the recruiter, and I was scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. The interview with the manager went great, and I was pretty excited about the role and the company. He seemed interested and engaged in our conversation, and without me even asking about next steps, he told me what to expect for the technical part.
A day later I reached out to the recruiter and expressed how much I enjoyed the interview with the manager. The recruiter also said someone will be reaching out regarding next steps shortly.
The day after, I received a generic rejection email.
