I arrived a little early in the interview and due to lack of space waited inside a classroom and observed a class in session. The actual interview was a bit different for me, the interviewer just asked a question and barely made any eye contact and would just type in her computer for my answers. She didn't provide much feedback, but it was a straightforward and short interview.

I applied for the Operations Associate position and was contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview. I spent time preparing specifically for that role. However, during the interview, I was informed- without prior notice - that my application had been shifted to a fellowship program position because the recruiter felt I might be a "better fit". While I appreciate the recruiter's transparency during the call, learning about the change only at that moment was surprising. I would have preferred to know in advance so I could have made an informed decision about proceeding with the interview. After the conversation, I sent a professional follow-up email expressing my continued interest in operations and administrative roles within the network. Advice to management: Consider notifying candidates of any changes to their application or role before an interview. Clear communication ensures candidates can prepare appropriately and assess whether the opportunity aligns with their goals.
